We are a coalition of agencies and concerned citizens dedicated to providing leadership in preventing and responding to domestic violence in our community.
The goals of the Chesterfield County Domestic Violence Task Force are to:
Advocate for intervention and prevention activities that will decrease incidents of domestic violence.
Promote safety and justice for those already affected by domestic violence.
Educate and train people in our community in order to promote greater awareness and understanding of domestic violence.
Provide free community training on domestic and sexual violence related issues.

The Heart of the Matter: A Journey Towards Healing
A performance of monologues based on actual victim stories to raise awareness about the issues of domestic and sexual violence. Presented by The Domestic and Sexual Violence Resource Center, The Chesterfield Domestic Violence Task Force and The YWCA of Richmond.
Saturday, Sept. 29th at 2:30pm and Thursday, October 4th at 8pm at Swift Creek Mill Theatre.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation
The Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation will be held at the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors meeting on September 26, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room located in the Chesterfield County Police Department Office in the Chesterfield County Administration Building.
